Prior to joining Berger Fink LLP, Rena was In-House Counsel for a large real estate management company where she handled all types of day-to-day real estate matters including landlord-tenant litigation, negotiating and drafting contracts and leases and compliance for housing initiatives such as the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program. Her prior experience also includes working for a boutique law firm that focused on all aspects of real estate and landlord-tenant litigation.

Rena obtained her Bachelors of Arts from The City University of New York, Queens College, magna cum laude, in December 2006 and was awarded the Joseph Gubernikoff Memorial Award.  She obtained her Juris Doctor from Saint John's University School of Law in 2010, where she was the Associate Articles & Notes Editor for the N.Y. Litigator and earned the CALI Award for Excellence in advanced real estate transactions.
